Cardiac Doppler ultrasound is the most important cardiac test together with surface electrocardiogram. Using an ultrasound system avoiding any kind of radiation, this non-invasive test allows the cardiologist to analyze in real time the force of the heart (contractility), the functioning of the heart valves, the size of the aorta and pulmonary arteries and other details from different parts of the heart. This test is indicated in almost all cardiac symptoms and diseases and is useful to diagnose most serious diseases of the heart.
Cardiac Doppler Ultrasound is performed takes 20 to 30 minutes to be performed. After the test, the patient will leave our center with a detailed report of the results and a sample of the most important images.
